Our Story

Established in 2016...

 

The K.C.C. Spirit & Raw Bar was built and designed as a "hideout" for Shakey Jakes owner, Chuck Deitrich. He wanted a place where he could go that had the perfect atmosphere and his favorite things:

• Scotch

• Oysters

• Smoked, cured meats

 

In his search for a nickname of his hideout, he realized that he needed to complete the trifecta of naming his businesses after his three boys. First, was named after the oldest boy, Chad - "Chad2 Landscaping"  from Chuck's earlier days before the restaurant. Next came Shakey Jakes after the youngest, Jake.

While the middle child Kiel(pronounced kyle) was left out of the fun, Chuck originally dubbed the name to be:

Kiel's Cigar Club - aka - The K.C.C.

 

Abandoning the club idea... our customers deserved to have their own hideout as well. And thus, the name became The KCC Spirit & Raw Bar.

You can check out the KCC Thursdays through Saturdays from 5-10pm and enjoy fresh seafood, delicious appetizers, fancy drinks, and even fancier desserts.

 

 

 

Many of our customers will visit the KCC for an aperitif and head over to Shakeys for a more pub-fare menu(and maybe even stop back for dessert!). Also many times our customers will have a drink and just soak in the atmosphere. But be careful... time flies when you're having fun!
